Terms and conditions for Web check-in

  • Web check-in is available online from 48 hours until 02 hours prior to scheduled departure
  • Web check-in is available on all domestic flights only (except for flights departing from Jammu and Srinagar)
  • In case you are carrying checked-in baggage, please ensure that you report at the check-in counter to deposit your bags at least 45 minutes (for domestic sectors prior) to scheduled departure time
  • In case you are carrying only hand baggage, you may proceed for security check with your web checked-in boarding pass (no need to get it stamped at the check-in counter)
  • Please note: For domestic sectors, boarding gates close 20 minutes before flight departure
  • Please ensure that you are carrying your valid photo identification with you for any security checks by airport security staff
  • If you have not pre-assigned a seat at the time of booking, the system will automatically take you to the seat selection page where you will have to select your preferred seat number during web check-in
  • If you have done a web check-in, you may modify or cancel your bookings two (2) hours prior to the scheduled departure time only by calling us at our reservations numbers +91 987 180 3333, +91 965 400 3333
  • Passengers between the age of 15 to 65 without any medical condition(s), and travelling without an Infant or Child, may choose to book an Emergency Exit row Seat. SpiceJet reserves the right to refuse a Passenger an assigned Emergency Exit row Seat at the time of boarding in case the above criteria is not met.
  • Passengers doing web check-in shall be responsible for ensuring their hand-baggage meets the physical dimension and weight limits, and must pay for excess cabin baggage (if any) at the airport check-in counter. There will be random checks at boarding gates for hand baggage size and weight, and if found oversized or overweight, INR 300/kg will be chargeable, and additionally the bag may be taken from the passenger to be placed in the cargo hold.

    • You pack the bags on your own so that you are familiar with the contents of the baggage
    • You do not accept any item(s) to carry on the flight from people you do not know

    • Flights departing from Jammu and Srinagar
    • Group bookings (10 passengers or above travelling together)
    • Indian armed force personnel and student bookings
    • Passenger(s) travelling with infant(s)
    • Passenger(s) with reduced mobility and those with special needs
    • Passenger(s) aged below 12 and travelling alone
    • International flights
